Lisa ABOUT MEMENTO MORI  JEWELRY

Lisa McEachern designs and handcrafts Memento Mori, a passionate and eccentric line of jewellery.  At a young age, Lisa found an interest in art and creativity.  She began with paintings and drawings, and later moved into beaded jewellery design.

After taking an entrepreneurship class in high school Lisa began selling her designs at local stores in Regina, Saskatchewan.  This experience instilled a desire to one day make jewellery design her career.

Lisa followed her artistic calling, and worked several jobs to be able to attend the Vancouver College Jewellery Art and Design Program.  During her time there, she became certified in gemology, received a scholarship for her program and was awarded the Award for Artistic Achievement.

Following graduation, Lisa gained experience running a gallery and harnessing her technical and artistic skills.  She received many offers from some of the most prestigious jewellery design companies in Canada, but decided to follow her heart and start her own jewellery line.  In 2008, 12 years after Lisa’s first piece of jewellery was created, Memento Mori was born.
